多重网格自适应有限方法暑期课程将于
具体安排如下:
1. WEEK 1-2: ADAPTIVE
MULTILEVEL FINITE ELEMENT METHODS
(JINCHAO XU, JUN HU, LONG
CHEN)
1.1. Sobolev spaces and basic interpolation error
estimates.
1.2. Finite element method for the Poisson
equation and a posteriori error estimates.
1.3. Convergence of AFEMs.
1.4. Optimality of AFEMs.
1.5. Multilevel subspaces.
1.6. Subspace correction and multigrid methods I:
abstract theory.
1.7. Subspace correction and multigrid methods II:
convergence analysis.
1.8. Newest vertex bisection and Multigrid on
bisection grids.
1.9. H(curl) andH(div) spaces
and decomposition.
1.10. Multigrid method for H(curl)
and H(div) systems.
2. HOMEWORK AND MATLAB
PROJECTS
There will be one (1) Matlab project.
Students can work in teams of up to 4 students with each team handing in one paper.
Different teams may not work together or share their work. There will be a
tutorial on the matlab package for AFEM and Multigrid: AFEM@matlab. But the
programming language is not restricted to Matlab. Students can choose any
language to work on. The due date of the project is the end of summer school.
3. WEEK 3: ANISOTROPIC
ADAPTIVITY (WEIZHANG HUANG)
The reader is referred to [1, 2] for the contents of
the lectures in this week.
